Class 3A Football: Litteral ranks second in passing

SALYERSVILLE – Magoffin County senior Lucas Litteral is among the state’s top high school quarterbacks. Currently, Litteral is ranked second in passing in Class 3A.

SALYERSVILLE – Magoffin County senior Lucas Litteral is among the state’s top high school quarterbacks. Currently, Litteral is ranked second in passing in Class 3A.

Litteral has completed 70 of 151 passes for 1,234 yards and 16 touchdowns. He has thrown five interceptions.

The Magoffin County senior ranks second in passing in Class 3A behind Christian Academy-Louisville quarterback Connor Clayton Masters. Another senior, Masters has completed 85 of 143 passes for 1,353 yards and 20 touchdowns. Masters has thrown five interceptions as well.

Litteral has completed multiple passes to seven different receivers. Aden Barnett leads the Hornets in receiving. Barnett has hauled in 24 receptions for 434 yards and seven touchdowns. Ranking as Magoffin County’s second-leading receiver, Brad Standifer has reeled in 19 receptions for 414 yards and three touchdowns.
