Darrell Back age 61 of Hazel Green, Kentucky formerly of Salyersville, passed away Wednesday, August 07, 2024 at his home. He was born February 25, 1963 in Salyersville, Kentucky to the late Dillard and Ruby Darnell Back.
Survived by his wife, Susan Helton Back, one brother, Gordan Back, three sisters, Alice Hackworth, Margie Couch, Patricia Back, all of Salyersville, Kentucky, and special cousin, Helen Dyer of Salyersville, Kentucky.
In addition to his parents, Darrell is preceded in death by one brother, Carl Back, five sisters, Sallie Sally, Judy Lykins, Marlene Arms, Linda Bailey, Sue Shepherd, his grandmother, Daisy Darnell and aunt Edith Back, who raised him, and special cousin, Russell Back.
Darrell was a member of the Bloomington United Baptist Church.
Funeral services were conducted Sunday, August 11, 2024 from the Bloomington United Baptist Church with Paul Brown, Jr., officiating. Burial followed in the Back Cemetery at Back Branch, Salyersville, Kentucky.
Arrangements were under the direction of the Magoffin County Funeral Home.
