Dennis Conley, age 70, a resident of Birch Branch in Salyersville, Kentucky; passed away Friday, December 25, 2020 on Birch Branch. Dennis was born November 10, 1950 in Marion, Ohio the son of the late Ernest “Bo” and Donna Ruth Bradshaw Conley. His wife, Sharlene Brooks Conley, and brother, Jerry Lee Conley, also preceded him in death. Dennis was employed as a Carpentry Instructor at Carl D. Perkins Job Core until his retirement. He was a member of the Bradley Freewill Baptist Church on Burning Fork in Salyersville, Kentucky and was active in the men’s groups and study groups at the church and at Kernie Freewill Baptist Church. He was very active with his family and was often going and doing to be with them.
Those left to mourn include sons, Scott Conley and wife Amy of Mt. Sterling, Kentucky, Brian Eric Conley and wife Stephanie of Mt. Sterling, Kentucky, sister, Lenora Blackburn of Salyersville, Kentucky, brothers, Frank Conley of Fort Gay, West Virginia, Ray Conley of Salyersville, Kentucky, grandchildren, Hallie Beth Conley, Erica Rayee Conley and Austin Holbrook and a host of family and friends who love and miss him.
Funeral services for Dennis Conley were conducted Wednesday, December 30, 2020 at 3:00 from the Bradley Freewill Baptist Church on Burning Fork Road in Salyersville, Kentucky, Clergy Randy Haney delivered comforting words on the day of service. Interment followed in the Conley Family Cemetery on Birch Branch in Salyersville, Kentucky.
