Dona Montgomery age 88 of Springfield, Ohio formerly of Magoffin County, Kentucky passed away Monday, May 2, 2022 at the Good Shepherd Village in Springfield, Ohio. Dona was born January 14, 1934 in Magoffin County, Kentucky to the late; Linzie and Bessie Jenkins Montgomery.
Survivors include his wife; Ruie Marie “Nut” Jenkins Montgomery, one sister; Betty Carty of Salyersville, Kentucky and several nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
In addition to his parents Dona is proceeded in death by five brothers; Delbert Montgomery, Hubert Montgomery, Elbert Montgomery, Olen Montgomery and Edgil Montgomery, three sisters; Elva Howard, Mollie Daniels and Madgie Mae Montgomery.
Dona was a Construction Worker by trade and a member of the Rockhouse Liberty Baptist Church.
Funeral services for Dona Montgomery will be conducted at 1:00 P.M. Thursday, May 12, 2022 from the Rockhouse Liberty Baptist Church with Denzil Jenkins, Gallord Jenkins, William Prater and Greg Carty officiating. Burial will follow in the Jenkins Cemetery at Rockhouse, Kentucky. Friends may visit the Rockhouse Liberty Baptist Church anytime Thursday prior to funeral services.
