Donnie Ray Minix age 75 of Craft Creek, Salyersville, Kentucky passed away Wednesday, February 17, 2021 at his home. He was born March 19, 1945 at Craft Creek in Salyersville, Kentucky to the late Morse and Eliza Ray Minix.
Survivors include his wife, Mary Back Minix, one son, Morse Delane (Debra) Minix of Salyersville, Kentucky, three step-son, Michael Kramer, Rodney “Buggy” Kramer, Ricky (Dee) Arnett of Jackson, Kentucky, two daughters, Rochell (Charles) Minix Reece of Richmond, Kentucky, Melinda (Sammy) Minix Marsee of Lancaster, Kentucky, two sisters, Jo Ann Litteral of Salyersville, Kentucky, Honnie Riegal of Ohio, eleven grandchildren, Beth Lyons, Brianna Turner, Baylie Winkler, Amber Gibson, Mistie Smith, Daniel Minix, Layne Marsee, Dalton Marsee, Nikki Jo Justice, Kara Arnett, Colton Arnett, and sixteen great grandchildren.
In addition to his parents, Donnie Ray is preceded in death by one step- son, Labe Israel Minix, two brothers, Robinson Minix, Daniel Minix, and one sister, Jackie Minix.
Donnie Ray was a painter by trade and a member of the Keith Memorial Tabernacle Primitive Church.
Funeral services were conducted at 1:00 P.M. Sunday, February 21, 2021 from the Magoffin County Funeral Home Chapel with Dave Gamble officiating. Burial followed in the Donnie Ray Minix Cemetery at Craft Creek, Kentucky.
Arrangements were under the direction of the Magoffin County Funeral Home.
