Dortha Jean England Wireman age 89 of Salyersville, Kentucky passed away Thursday, March 24, 2022 at the Highlands ARH Regional Medical Center in Prestonsburg, Kentucky. She was born April 20, 1932 in Salt Lick, Kentucky to the late Kindle and Susie Brown England.
Survived by one son, Ezra James (Cindy) Wireman of Gunlock, Kentucky, four daughters, Geraldine (Gary) Reed of Eastern, Kentucky, Madge (Jo David) Fitzpatrick of Gunlock, Kentucky, Brenda Kay Stephens of Salyersville, Kentucky, Diane (Farish) Collins of Salyersville, Kentucky, seven grandchildren, Chantel Marie Reed, April Michelle Amburgey, Jennifer Lynn Kendrick, Jeffery Neil Bailey, Samantha Ann Puckett, Paul Ed Collins, Nicholas David Stephens, eleven great grandchildren, and two great-great grandchildren.
In addition to her parents, Jean is preceded in death by her husband, Ezra Wireman, one son-in-law, David Stephens, seven brothers, Woodrow England, Dave England, George England, Kellie England, Homer England, Amos England, Adam England, two sisters, Virgie England, and Hattie Marie Howard.
Funeral services were conducted Monday, March 28, 2022 from the Magoffin County Funeral Home Chapel with Harold Clemons and Greg Minix officiating. Burial followed in the Allen-Wireman Cemetery at Salt Lick, Kentucky.
