SALYERSVILLE — The Magoffin County High School softball team will host a free camp Aug. 5-6.
Weather permitting, the softball camp will be held from 8 a.m.-4 p.m. on Saturday, Aug. 5 and 3 p.m.-5 p.m. on Sunday, Aug. 6.
The softball camp is for players ages 8-12. Fundamentals will be taught throughout the camp. The staff for the camp will include former college softball players.
Hot dogs and chips will be provided for lunch on Saturday, Aug. 5.
Water will be provided each day of the camp.
Scheduled breaks will occur every 30 minutes throughout the camp or as often as needed.
Each camper should bring their own softball equipment (glove, helmet, bat).
All campers must be registered by July 23 in order to receive a T-shirt.
