Herman Russell age 71 of Salyersville, Kentucky passed away Saturday, August 20, 2022 at the University of Cincinnati Hospital in Cincinnati, Ohio. He was born March 09, 1951 in Salyersville, Kentucky to the late Arvel and Martha Montgomery Russell.
Survived by his wife, Dora Gamble Russell, one son, Anthony Wayne Salyer, one grandson, Cody Salyer, four brothers, Donald Russell, Ronnie Russell, Doug Russell, Dean Russell all of Salyersville, Kentucky, two sisters, Dovie Howard, Maggie Jenkins both of Salyersville, Kentucky, and one brother-in-law, Hollie Howard of Marion Ohio.
In addition to his parents, Herman is preceded in death by one sister, Rosie Howard.
Funeral services were conducted Wednesday, August 24, 2022 from the Coon Creek Regular Baptist Church with Delbert Porter officiating. Burial followed in the Buffalo Cemetery, Buffalo Creek, Salyersville, Kentucky.
Arrangements are under the direction of the Magoffin County Funeral Home.
