WEST LIBERTY — Herald Whitaker Middle School placed second in the Sorghum Shootout on Saturday, Jan. 6.
The Morgan County-hosted tournament featured several area archery teams.
John Martin Connelley and Luke Montgomery combined to lead the Hornets.
Individually, Connelley and Montgomery tied for second (Middle School Boys) in the Sorghum Shootout.
Accompanying two of his teammates in the top five, Brayden Lewis finished fifth for the Hornets.
