Lynn Hackworth age 79 of Salyersville, Kentucky passed away Saturday, October 09, 2021 at the Irvin Nursing and Rehabilitation Center in Irvine, Kentucky..
He was the son of the late D. Glen “DOC” Hackworth and Velma Patton Hackworth. He is survived by one daughter, Tammy Hackworth of Cambellsville, Ky, six grandchildren, nine great grandchildren, and one great-great grandchild, one sister, Rosella Pennington, two brothers, Joe (Sue) Hackworth, Ned (Carol) Hackworth.
Lynn was a United States Army Veteran.
In addition to his parents, Lynn was preceded in death by one daughter, Mahala Beth Shively.
Memorial services will be at 11:00 A.M. Saturday, October, 23, 2021, at the Bradley Freewill Baptist Church at Burning Fork, Ky, with Minister Randy Haney officiating. Burial will follow in the Hackworth and Patton Cemetery at Burning Fork, Ky.
Arrangements are under the direction of the Magoffin County Funeral Home.
