WILLIAMSBURG — Magoffin County tied for third in the Game Day Small Division during the KHSAA Region 8 Competitive Cheer Competition at the University of the Cumberlands on Saturday, Nov. 4.
Turning in a solid performance, Magoffin County tied Raceland for third.
Seven squads competed in the Game Day Small Division.
Region 8 is comprised of Magoffin County, Raceland, Ashland, Bath County, Belfry, Betsy Layne, Boyd County, East Carter, East Ridge, Elliott County, Fairview, Fleming County, Floyd Central, Greenup County, Jenkins, Johnson Central, Lawrence County, Lewis County, Martin County, Menifee County, Morgan County, Paintsville, Phelps, Pike County Central, Pikeville, Prestonsburg, Rowan County, Russell, Shelby Valley and West Carter.
