Sherry Lynn Roark Helton age 54 of Salyersville, Kentucky passed away Tuesday, December 15, 2020 from the Cornerstone Specialty Hospital in Huntington, West Virginia. She was born August 30, 1966 in Paintsville, Kentucky to the late Leander “Lee” and Luna Marie King Roark. Survivors include, her husband, William David Helton, three sons, Shane (April) Helton of West Liberty, Kentucky, Christopher Shannon Helton, Sedley Tracer (Isabella Davis) Helton, both of Salyersville, Kentucky, one daughter, Sherrironica (Dave) Thomas of West Liberty, Kentucky, two brothers, Gordon (Connie) Roark, Grover (Emily) Roark, both of Salyersville, Kentucky, two sisters, Christine (Harry) Lemaster, Nellie (George) Puckett, both of Salyersville, Kentucky, three grandsons, Colton Thomas, Joseph “Jojo” Thomas, Liam Helton, and a host of nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents, Sherry is preceded in death by two sisters, Melvadene Roark, and Alene Taulbee.
Funeral services were conducted at 1:00 P.M. Saturday, December 19, 2020 from the Magoffin County Funeral Home Chapel with Johnny Reed officiating. Burial followed in the Roark Cemetery at Middle Fork, Kentucky.
Arrangements were under the direction of the Magoffin County Funeral Home.
