Troy Sterling Gullett age 85 of Little Pricey Road, Salyersville, Kentucky passed away Friday, January 08, 2021 at his home. He was born August 19, 1935 at Cisco, Kentucky to the late Wade and Minnie Jenkins Gullett. Survivors include his wife, Josephine Rednor Gullett, two sons, William Keith (Kathy) Gullett, Troy Gullett, Jr. both of West Liberty, Kentucky, six daughters, Peggy Gullett (Donald) Lewis of Salyersville, Kentucky, Teresa (Ben Easterling) Gullett, of Hazel Green, Kentucky, Sandy (Todd) Evans of Odessa, Missouri, Velvet (Lanson) McCarty of Salyersville, Kentucky, Deidra Gullett (John) Straub, Kendra Kaye (Matthew) Gamble, both of Salyersville, Kentucky, one brother, Roby (Rose) Gullett of Salyersville, Kentucky, two sisters, Lexie Francis of Salyersville, Kentucky, Ella Mae (Darrell) Nickell of West Liberty, Kentucky, fourteen grandchildren, Scotty Oney, Tony Brooks, Ryan Howard, Laken Ruth, Brandon McCarty, Teneaka McCarty, Zackary Gullett, Braydon Gullett, Christopher Howard, Brandon, Howard, Joseph Marshall, Kristin Gamble, Madison Gamble, several great grandchildren and two great-great grandchildren.
In addition to his parents, Troy is preceded in death by one son, Dickie Gullett, four brothers, Woodrow Mitchell Gullett, Frank Gullett, Paul B. Gullett, Leory Gullett, six sisters, Gladys Ison, Ruie Nickell, Ruby Wills, Faye McClure, Juanita Deaton, Rebecca Irene Isaac, and one grandson, Brian Douglas Howard.
Funeral services were conducted at 1:00 P.M. Sunday, January 10, 2021 from the Magoffin County Funeral Home Chapel with Rick Howard, John Howard and Dan Ison officiating. Burial followed in the Kennard Cemetery at Rockhouse, Kentucky.
Masonic Rites were given at 7:00 P.M. Saturday, January 09, 2021 by the Elkfork Masonic Lodge #755 F&AM.
Arrangements were under the direction of the Magoffin County Funeral Home.
