SALYERSVILLE — Magoffin County rising senior center fielder Bella Trusty has carried momentum into the high school softball offseason.
In June, Trusty competed for the East Junior All-Stars. The East-West All-Star Series is held annually, featuring some of the state’s top high school softball players each year.
Trusty, who excels in both softball and basketball, received the Mark O’Brien Spirit of Competition Award during the latest East-West All-Star Series.
Thriving as a junior for Magoffin County in the 2026 high school softball season, Trusty batted .349 with 22 hits, 14 runs, 14 RBIs, two doubles, eight walks and 14 stolen bases. Excelling both offensively and defensively, Trusty paced Magoffin County’s group of outfielders.
Trusty ranked as Magoffin County’s third-leading scorer in the 2025-26 girls’ high school basketball season. In addition, Trusty was among the top five rebounders for Magoffin County in the most recent prep hoops season.
Trusty will be among Magoffin County’s best returning female student-athletes in the 2026-27 schoolyear.
