Ruby Oney Arnett age 62 of Salyersville, Kentucky passed away Friday, November 7, 2025 at the Salyersville Health Care Center in Salyersville, Kentucky. She was born August 06, 1963 at White Oak, Kentucky to the late Orbett Calmer and Fairie Gibson Oney.
Survived by one son, Jacob and Melissa Arnett of Salyersville, Kentucky, two brothers, Melvin and Doris Oney of West Chester, Ohio, Talmage Wayne and Juanita Oney of Nicholasville, Kentucky, four sisters, Evie Reed, Patty Arnett, Brenda Benton all of Salyersville, Kentucky Ruth Oney of Morehead, Kentucky, two grandchildren, Leah and Austin Cole, Tyler Arnett, one great granddaughter, Adaline Cole, several nieces, nephews, family, and friends.
In addition to her parents, Ruby is preceded in death by her husband, Joey Arnett.
Ruby was the youngest of seven children. She loved all her family with all her heart, always concerned about them all. She had a heart of gold and would give you the last thing she had. She was a wonderful daughter to her parents, wonderful wife, mother, grandmother, and sister to all of us. Ruby will be sadly missed by all that knew and loved her. Ruby gave her heart to the Lord, and we will see her again in heaven. We love you.
Funeral services were conducted Monday, November 10, 2025 from the Magoffin County Funeral Home Chapel with Neil Carty and Floyd Arnett officiating. Burial followed in the Edgar Oney Cemetery at Upper White Oak, Salyersville, Kentucky.
In lieu of flowers, contributions can be made to the memorial fund at the Magoffin County Funeral Home.
