William “Norman” Allen age 87, a resident of Cincinnati, Ohio, formerly of Magoffin County, Kentucky, passed away Thursday, July 30, 2026 at the Lantern of Morning Point in Franklin, Tennessee.
He was born October 17, 1938, in Magoffin County, Kentucky, to the late Other and Effie Allen. Besides his parents, Norman is preceded in death by his wife Wanda “Jean” Francis Allen, one son, William “Jeff” Allen, one brother, Winford Allen, and one sister Ada Allen.
Those left to mourn includes son, Dave Allen of Franklin, Tennessee, and four grandchildren Stacy Braig, Chad Allen, Emmi Allen and Ty Allen, and a host of family and friends.
A graveside service for William “Norman” Allen were conducted Sunday, August 2, 2026, at the Amyx Cemetery on Grape Creek, Kentucky in Salyersville, Kentucky. Comforting words were given by Pastor Frankie Howard. In lieu of flowers, family and friends can make donations to the Seasons Hospice Foundation at seasonsfoundation.org who lovingly cared for Norman during his last months.
