Virginia “Ginny” Dyer Cole, age 80, a resident of Silas Cole Road in Salyersville, Kentucky, passed away Friday, July 31, 2026 at her home.
“Ginny” was born born February 4, 1946, in Salyersville, Kentucky the daughter of Arlen and Malvie Wisecup Dyer. Husband, Silas Cole Jr., whom she married May 31, 1966, brother, Harold Dyer, sisters, Shelvie Jean Dyer, Venus Dyer.
Those left to mourn includes son, Brian Cole of Salyersville, Kentucky, brother, Larry Dyer and wife Helen of Salyersville, Kentucky, sister, Alberta Rice and husband Carl of Florida, half siblings, Paul Howard of Salyersville, Kentucky, Nora Alice Bauer of Salyersville, Kentucky, Allison Howard of Salyersville, Kentucky, a host of family and friends who love and miss her.
Funeral services for Virginia “Ginny” Dyer Cole were conducted Tuesday, August 4, 2026, from the chapel of the Salyersville Funeral Home in Salyersville, Kentucky. Clergy Daniel Newsome delivered comforting words on the day of service. Interment followed in the Cole Cemetery on Silas Cole Road in Salyersville, Kentucky.
