Ricky Lee McCarty age 78 of Salyersville, Kentucky passed away Thursday, January 29, 2026 at the Paintsville ARH at Paintsville, Kentucky. He was born March 28, 1947 at Flat Fork in Salyersville, Kentucky to the late Dave and Vergie Wright McCarty.
He is survived by one sister, Concheata Wheeler of Salyersville, Kentucky.
In addition to his parents, Ricky is preceded in death by his wife, Lasie Fay “Ruthie” Slone McCarty one brother, Rodney David McCarty and one sister Carmeleate VanHoose.
A memorial service will be announced at a later date.
Arrangements were under the direction of the Magoffin County Funeral Home.
