Patricia Ann Salyer Rice age 54 of Salyersville, Kentucky passed away Thursday, February 19, 2026 at the U.K. Medical Center, Lexington, Kentucky. She was born September 30, 1971 in Paintsville, Kentucky to Thomas Adward Salyer and the late Genivee “Blue” King Salyer.
Survivors include her father, her husband, Roy Allen Rice, two daughters; Haley Rosettea (Dalton) Salyer, Audrea Cheyenne (Jacob) Caudill both of Salyersville, Kentucky, three brothers; Scotty (Misty) Salyer, Jamie Salyer both of Salyersville, Kentucky, Anthony Salyer of Lexington, Kentucky, and one grandson, Bradlee Scott Salyer.
In addition to her mother, Patricia is preceded in death by one infant son, Billy Ray Rice.
Funeral services were conducted Sunday, February 22, 2026 from the Magoffin County Funeral Home Chapel with Dennis Marshall officiating. Burial followed in the Salyer Cemetery at Flat Fork in Salyersville, Kentucky.
Arrangements were under the direction of the Magoffin County Funeral Home.
