Diana Marlene DeLong Burchell age 80 of Van Lear, Kentucky passed away Saturday, February 6, 2021 at her home. She was born February 6, 1941 in Johnson County, Kentucky to the late Mitchell and Geneva Collins DeLong. Also, preceding her in death is her husband Paul Vernon Burchell.
Survivors include; five sons, Paul Lloyd Burchell, Brian Mitchell Burchell, Blake Miles Burchell, Kenneth Todd Burchell and Marlen Douglas Burchell, one sister; Doris A. DeLong Music, several grandchildren, several great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
In addition to Diana’s parents and husband she is preceded in death by two brothers; Gerald Lloyd “Buddy” DeLong and Larry Kenneth DeLong and one niece; Sheri S. Music Cook.
Graveside services will be conducted at 1:00 P.M. Thursday, February 11, 2021 from the Johnson County Memorial Cemetery at Staffordsville, Kentucky, with Johnnie Lemaster and Mark McKenzie officiating. Family and friends may visit the Magoffin County Funeral Home Thursday, February 11, 2021 from 10:00 am to 12 noon prior to services.
