“Ladies and gentlemen, Today, I am proud to announce to you filled with gratitude and pride as I celebrate a significant milestone in my life and career. As of August 14th, 2024, I am officially a Kentucky Licensed Funeral Director and Embalmer—a dream I have worked tirelessly to achieve. My journey began at Mid-America College of Funeral Service, where I graduated in the spring of 2020. Those years of study were both challenging and enriching, shaping my passion for serving families during their most difficult times. Last year, I took the final crucial step in my journey by standing before the state board to begin my apprenticeship. It was a moment of both excitement and nervous anticipation, one that has ultimately led me to this very moment.

I want to take this opportunity to express my heartfelt thanks to those who have been my unwavering support system throughout this journey. To my church family at Lakefront Church of God, your prayers and encouragement have uplifted me when I needed it most. To my mother, stepfather, brothers, sisters, sister-in-law and grandparents your love has been my foundation. I am endlessly grateful for your belief in me and for the sacrifices you have made to help me achieve my dream. But, above all I thank the Lord.

As I embark on this new chapter as a licensed funeral director and embalmer, I am committed to honoring the trust that families place in me during their most vulnerable moments. Together, we can navigate the journey of grief and the celebration of life with compassion and care.”
