Last week the cross country team ran at the Sorghum Run in Morgan County with over 100 runners and 13 schools competing. Hudson Brown competed in the elementary 2K division finishing 18th with a time of 12:33. In the middle school 2K division, 6th-8th grade, Colton Boyd was the top finisher for the boys in 3rd with a time of 8:32, followed by JP Owens in 6th place, 8:57, Jackson Owens in 9th, 10:39, and Aiden Bingham in 12th, 11:31. In the varsity 5K race, Matt Hall was the top finisher with a time of 21:28, followed by Daegan Caudill, 23:45, Sullivan Rice, 25:04 and Eli Howard, 28:20. In the girls race, Abigail Skaggs finished as the top girl with a time of 38:44, followed by Cayman Hall, 40:21 and Abigail Bradley, 42:19.
