SALYERSVILLE — Magoffin County shut out Buckhorn 3-0 in a non-district match on Wednesday, Sept. 2.
Continuing to show improvement in the 2026 high school volleyball season, Magoffin County notched its second straight win.
Magoffin County controlled the match, winning 25-4, 25-11.
Karlee Wallen (3 kills, 11 service aces), Lucy Whitaker (2 kills, 1 assist, 2 service aces), Ava Gibson (4 kills), Madison Hirst (1 kill, 1 dig), Maddie Salyer (4 kills, 1 service ace, 2 digs), Kellen Simpkins (1 service ace), Ileana Torices (1 service ace), Kaylee Wireman (1 service ace), Ava Hensley, Larah Salyer, Ellie Allen, Ashlynn Risner and Finley Rudd each contributed for Magoffin County in its win.
The win allowed Magoffin County to improve to 4-3.
Magoffin County is scheduled to visit Buckhorn for another match on Wednesday, Sept. 30.
