STAFFORDSVILLE — Magoffin County was among the cross country programs competing in the Paintsville All-Comers Meet at Paintsville Lake Dam on Monday, Sept. 14.
In addition to Magoffin County, host Paintsville, Knott County Central, Betsy Layne, Shelby Valley, Pike County Central, Pikeville and Piarist competed in the cross country meet.
The Magoffin County boys’ team placed fourth overall with the following times – Colton Boyd, 28:12; JP Owens, 28.13; Kameron Rudd, 34:09; Levi Jordan, 36:01; Aiden Stephens, 39:57; Trey Hines 41:58.
In the girls’ race, Magoffin County runner Annabella Allgood placed 10th with a time of 42:28.
In the elementary 5K, Magoffin County runner Gunner Williams was the top finisher with a time of 28:14. Magoffin County’s Case Isaac finished next with a time of 35:06 and Axl Howard, another Hornet, placed third at 42:43.
