Rebecca Faye Penix age 84 of Salyersville, Kentucky passed away Saturday, September 2, 2023 at the Salyersville Health Care Center in Salyersville, Kentucky. She was born August 15, 1939 in Magoffin County, Kentucky to the late Edgar and Bess Howard Penix.
Survived by her caregivers, Alkie Tackett, James Tackett, and Jamie Traylor, two special boys, Kendall “Big Boy” Traylor and Kenton Traylor.
Funeral services were conducted Monday, September 04, 2023 from the Magoffin County Funeral Home Chapel with Willis Blair officiating. Burial followed in the Tackett Cemetery at Mine Fork, Kentucky.
Arrangements were under the direction of the Magoffin County Funeral Home.
