Barbara Jean Crace Arnett age 86 of Salyersville, Kentucky passed away Thursday, July 23, 2026 at the Salyersville Health Care Center, Salyersville, Kentucky. She was born October 21, 1939 at Coal Branch in Salyersville, Kentucky to the late Beecher and Ella Mae Adams Crace.
Survived by two sons, Stephen and his wife Brenda Arnett, Jeffery and wife Mellonee Arnett both of Salyersville, Kentucky, two grandchildren, Shanda and her husband Dallas Francis, Sasha and her husband Gregory Salyers, four great grandchildren, Dalton Francis, Aslynn Salyer, Callan Salyer, and Hunter Salyer.
In addition to her parents, Barbara is preceded in death by her husband, Thurman “Whistle” Arnett, one brother, Lloyd Crace, two sisters, Ruby Kathleen Adams, and Patty West.
Funeral services for Barbara, were conducted Sunday, July 26, 2026 from the Magoffin County Funeral Home Chapel with Doug Dunn and Jack Howard officiating. Burial followed in the Roy Arnett Cemetery at River Road, Salyersville, Kentucky.
Arrangements were under the direction of the Magoffin County Funeral Home.
