Dillard Back, age 91, a resident of Middle Fork in Salyersville, Kentucky; passed away Sunday, April 25, 2021 at his home.
Dillard was born May 26, 1929 in Salyersville, Kentucky the son of the late Dewy and Zelda Johnson Back. Son Carl Back, daughters Sue Shepherd, Judy Lykins, Linda Bailey, Marlene Arms, May Back, brothers Marvin Back, William Back, Willard Back, Orville Back, Dayton Back, sisters Flora Darnell, Dora Rowe, Dorothy Marsillett, Martha Back, and Laura Oney preceded him in death.
Those left to mourn includes sons Gordon Back and wife Dottie of Salyersville, Kentucky, Darrell Back and wife Susan of West Liberty, Kentucky, daughters Pat Back of Salyersville, Kentucky, Margie Couch Of Salyersville, Kentucky, Sally Sallie of Campton, Kentucky, Alice Hackworth of Pikeville, Kentucky, brother Ervin Back of Salyersville, Kentucky, 28 grandchildren, numerous great grandchildren and great-great grandchildren, a host of family and friends who love and will miss him.
Funeral services for Dillard Back will be conducted Friday, April 30, 2021 at 11:00 AM from the Burgett Community Church in Salyersville, Kentucky. Clergy Johnny Reed will deliver comforting words on the day of the service. Interment will follow in the Back Family Cemetery on Back Branch in Salyersville, Kentucky. The family will welcome friends all day Thursday and prior to the funeral service.
