Earl Gibson, age 88, a resident of Straight Fork in Gunlock, Kentucky; passed away Thursday, October 20, 2022 at his home.
Earl was born July 17, 1934 in Blue River , Kentucky the son of the late Charlie and Minerva Bailey Gibson. He is proceeded in death by his wife, Joyce Gibson, three brothers and one grandson Bobby Neil Ousley.
He was a Strip Miner until his retirment and served in the Army.
Those left to mourn includes his son Gary Gibson of Gunlock, Kentucky, two daughters Yvonette Prater of Pikeville, Kentucky, Tina Gibson of Gunlock, Kentucky, one sister Ruth Shepherd of Blue River, Kentucky, four grandchildren, three great grandchildren, a host of family and friends who love and miss him.
A graveside service for Earl Gibson was conducted Sunday, October 23 , from the Handshoe Cemetery on Straight Fork in Gunlock, Kentucky. Interment followed in the cemetery after service.
