Edward Junior Minix age 54 of Salyersville, Kentucky passed away Tuesday, December 29, 2020 at the Paul B Hall Medical Center in Paintsville, Kentucky. He was born January 12, 1966 in Salyersville, Kentucky to the late Edward Minx and Dora Smith Minix who survives. Survivors also include, his wife, Reginia Bailey Minix, one son, Ryan (Ricka) Minix, one daughter, Lakan Minix, six brothers, Samuel Joseph (Melissa) Minix, Matthew Allen (Surrinia) Minix, Gregory Lee (Mary) Minix, Adam Curtis (Miranda) Minix, Jamie Dwight (Alisha) Minix, Chadwick Neil (Jerica) Minix, three sisters, Lydia Colvin, Rebecca Jo (Jeff) Bolen, Tina (Ricky) Prater, five grandchildren, Kaylee Wireman, McKinlee Wireman, Maggie Minix, Rihanna Minix, and Tiann Branham.
In addition to his father, Junior is preceded in death by one brother, Randy Lynn Minix.
Funeral services were conducted at 1:00 P.M. Friday, January 1, 2021 from the Guncreek United Baptist Church with Beecher McCarty, Jr officiating.
Burial followed in the Minx Cemetery at Salyersville, Kentucky.
Arrangements were under the direction of the Magoffin County Funeral Home.
