Elma Caudill Carroll, age 82, a resident of Falcon Road in Salyersville, Kentucky; passed away Monday, November 15, 2021 at Pikeville Medical Center in Pikeville, Kentucky.
Elma was born December 28, 1938 in Salyersville, Kentucky the daughter of the late Emerson and Ruby Trimble Caudill. Sisters, Barbara Vanderpool, Jency Alene Ellen, and three sisters lost in infancy also preceded in death.
Elma was a member of the Stinson United Baptist Church in Salyersville, Kentucky. She and her husband, Joe, were the owners and operators of Carroll Specialty in Salyersville, Kentucky. She was a pillar to her family.
Those left to mourn includes husband, Joe Carroll, daughter, Linda Hamilton of Red Bush, Kentucky, sons, Larry Carroll of Salyersville, Kentucky, David Carroll and wife Gina of Salyersville, Kentucky, sister, Garnett Smith of Cincinnati, Ohio, six grandchildren, five great grandchildren, a host of family and friends who love and miss her.
Funeral services for Elma Caudill Carroll will be conducted Friday, November 19, 2021 at 1:00 PM from the chapel of the Salyersville Funeral Home. Clergy Greg Minix, John Blanton, and Carl Howard will deliver comforting words on the day of service. Interment will follow in the Abel Caudill Cemetery off of Falcon Road in Salyersville, Kentucky. The family will welcome friends Wednesday, November 17, after 6:00 PM, all day Thursday, November 18, and anytime prior to funeral services. Contributions can be made to the Stinson United Baptist Church in her honor.
