Hubert Blanton age 85 of Salyersville, Kentucky passed away Monday, June 27, 2022 at the Paintsville ARH Regional Medical Center in Paintsville, Kentucky. He was born December 23, 1936 in Salyersville, Kentucky to the late Lloyd and Rhoda Jenkins Blanton.
He is survived by one son, Danny (Phyllis) Casebolt of Salyersville, Kentucky, one daughter, Amy (Wesley) Slone of Prestonsburg, Kentucky, one sister Faye Gamble of Salyersville, Kentucky, seven grandchildren, eleven great grandchildren, and one great-great grandchildren.
In addition to his parents, Hubert is preceded in death by his wife, Ella Mae Perkins Blanton, two sons, Lanny Blanton, Larry Blanton, one daughter, Billie Jo Blanton, one brother, Ersel Blanton, four sisters, Venna Smith, Zona Williams, Ova Hall, Clova Mann, and one grandson, Larry Waylon Blanton.
Funeral services were conducted Friday, July 01, 2022 from the Magoffin County Funeral Home Chapel with Johnny Reed officiating. Burial followed in the Combs Cemetery at Trace Branch, Kentucky.
Arrangements are under the direction of the Magoffin County Funeral Home.
