The Ivy Point Improvement Project is underway, with the bids opened on Aug. 18 and the contract awarded on Aug. 30 to Frederick & May Construction Co. for $7,502,113.75. This was well below the estimate of $10.1 million. There were five bidders on the project. The project is to be completed by Nov. 1, 2023, so work will be ongoing for the next year, so expect travel delays and workers in that area of US 460 West.
