SALYERSVILLE — Magoffin County is slated to tip off the 2022-23 girls’ high school basketball season at home versus 14th Region member Cordia on Monday, Nov. 28.
The game versus Cordia was added to the Lady Hornets’ 2022-23 schedule on the KHSAA Scoreboard recently.
The opening tip for the Magoffin County-Cordia girls’ basketball game is set for 6 p.m.
Magoffin County and Cordia did not meet during the 2021-22 girls’ high school basketball season.
In a short turnaround, Justin Williams-coached Magoffin County is slated to visit 15th Region counterpart Prestonsburg on Tuesday, Nov. 29.
A member of the 57th District, Magoffin County will meet several familiar opponents in the 2022-23 girls’ high school basketball season.
The Lady Hornets showed improvement during the 2021-22 hoops campaign.
Magoffin County’s complete 2022-23 schedule will be published prior to the start of the upcoming girls’ high school basketball season.
Under the direction of Coach Justin Williams, Magoffin County will open preseason practice in mid-October.
