Larry Gene Hall age 71 of Salyersville, Kentucky born November 19, 1950 in Pikeville, Kentucky to the late Charles “Jit” Hall and Martha Scott Hall. He passed away May 19, 2022 at 7:34 P.M. at the Pikeville Medical center. Larry left this world surrounded by his loving wife, his daughters, and his sister.
Larry is survived by his wife, Charlotte Gail Howard Hall, his daughters, Angela (John) Reed of Pikeville, Kentucky, Stacey Hall of St. Petersburg, Florida, his son, Wesley (Rick) Lewis of Dallas, Texas, his brothers, Walt (Jan) Hall of Brownstown, Michigan, Frank Hall of New Smyrna Beach, Florida, and his sister Phyllis Hall Kensure of Lexington, Kentucky, seven grandchildren, Tate Morris, Trey Morris, Tatum Turner, Molly Reed, Alex Paredez, Savannah Napier, and Jasmine Reed, three great grandchildren, Laikynn Williams, Colton Morris, and Addison Morris, several nieces, and nephews.
Preceded in death by his parents, Charles and Martha Hall, one brother, Ronnie Jack Hall and his daughter, Candace Nicole Hall.
Renowned as a kind and gentle soul, Larry was cherished by all who were lucky enough to know to know him. Loyal and loving, Larry always put the needs of his baby Gail before his own. Their marriage restored everyone’s faith in true love. His children, human and feline, will forever miss his warms hugs and loving words of support, encouragement, and acceptance that he showered in abundance on all he loved. He was exceedingly proud of his children and grandchildren just for being them. Larry will be remembered as a wonderful, caring, and beloved brother to his siblings and a true friend to many. He was an avid fan of the UK Wildcats and the Detroit Tigers, really if you knew him, you knew he loved any and all sports. His kind heart and loving presence will be deeply missed by so many but most especially by the love of his life and best friend Gail.
Funeral services for Larry were conducted Monday, May 23, 2022 from the Magoffin County Funeral Home Chapel with Dallas Patrick officiating. Burial followed in the Bluegrass Cemetery, Salyersville, Kentucky.
Arrangements are under the direction of the Magoffin County Funeral Home.
