Lawson Williams

Lawson Williams, age 87, a resident of North Long Branch Road in Salyersville, Kentucky; passed away Sunday, November 7, 2021 at Paul B. Hall Regional Medical Center in Paintsville, Kentucky.

Lawson was born September 11, 1934 in Salyersville, Kentucky the son of the late Rollie and Anne Gamble Williams. Sons, Edison Williams, Terry Williams, brothers, Judge Williams, Sam Williams, Ham Williams, sisters, Margie Watson, Virginia Howard also preceded in death.

Lawson was a mechanic and farmer until he passed. He loved spending time with his family and friends as well.

Those left to mourn includes wife, Delois Risner Williams of Salyersville, Kentucky, daughters, Sherry Russell of Prestonsburg, Kentucky, Lisa Wilson and husband Rodney of Hardinsburg, Kentucky, Chrystal Risner and husband Keith of Salyersville, Kentucky, Shelia Ward and husband Chris of Salyersville, Kentucky, son, David Lester and wife Dawn of Hardinsburg, Kentucky, brother, Frank Williams of Salyersville, Kentucky, sixteen grandchildren, nine great grandchildren, and a host of family and friends who love and miss him.

Funeral services for Lawson Williams were conducted Monday, November 8, 2021 from the chapel of the Salyersville Funeral Home in Salyersville, Kentucky. Clergy Jim Howard and Jack Jordan delivered comforting words on the day of service. Interment followed in the Williams Family Cemetery on North Long Branch in Salyersville, Kentucky.
