Margie Davis Salyer age 79 of Salyersville, Kentucky passed away Thursday, May 28, 2026 at the Salyersville Health Care Center, Salyersville, Kentucky. She was born June 22, 1946 at Tip Top, Kentucky to the late Robert and Tellie Rowe Davis.
Survived by her husband, Johnny Salyer, two sons, Rodney (Dana) Salyer, Jimmy (Carla) Salyer both of Salyersville, Kentucky, three daughters, Peggy (Ronnie) McCarty, Linda (Bobby) Bryant both of Salyersville, Kentucky, Ruthie (Rick) Barker of West Liberty, Kentucky, two brothers, Elmer Davis, Gene Davis both of Salyersville, Kentucky, four sisters, Geraldine Salyer, Flora Puckett, Stella Salyer, Wanda Minix all of Salyersville, Kentucky, seven grandchildren, Ashley, Josh, Zack, Nikki, Jordan, Bobby, Lori, two great grandchildren, Carl and Waylon.
In addition to her parents, Margie is preceded in death by four brothers, Harry C. Davis, Edward Gene Davis, Robert Davis, Jr., Ernie Davis, three sisters, Anna Marie Davis, Sarah Rowe, and Bertha Patton.
Funeral services were conducted June 1, 2026 from the Magoffin County Funeral Home Chapel with Johnny Bailey officiating. Burial followed in the Menifee Watson Cemetery at Tip Top, Kentucky.
Arrangements were under the direction of the Magoffin County Funeral Home.
