Mary Risner age 94 of Puncheon Creek, Royalton, Kentucky passed away Monday, May 24, 2021 at the Salyersville Health Care Center in Salyersville, Kentucky. She was born June 12, 1926 in Gyspy, Kentucky to the late Leslie and Julia Whitaker Risner.
Survived by three sons, Edward Risner, Paul B. Risner, Adam (Joanna) Risner, all of Royalton, Kentucky, three daughters, Imogene Dyer, of Royalton, Kentucky, Bonnie Goodpaster, of Falmouth, Kentucky, Virginia Harcourt of Ohio, three brothers, Kelly Risner, George Risner, Lloyd Risner, all of Royalton, Kentucky, one sister, Sissy Jewel Prater of Royalton, Kentucky, with twenty-four grandchildren, forty-five great grandchildren, and eight great great grandchildren.
In addition to her parents, Mary is preceded in death by her husband, Oakie Risner, one son, Don Risner, three daughters, Connie Miller , Wanda Slone, Ellarae Imgram, three brothers, Kermit Risner, Boyd Risner, Garland Risner, three sisters, Susie Prater, Estis Fritzpatrick, and Edith Howard.
Funeral services will be conducted at 1:00 P.M. Thursday, May 27, 2021 from the Magoffin County Funeral Home Chapel with Dallas Patrick, and Larry Patrick officiating. Burial will follow in the Stephen D. Howard Cemetery at Mouth if Shawnie Branch, Kentucky. Friends may visit the funeral home any time Thursday prior to funeral services.
