Norma Jean Bradley

Norma Jean Bradley, 72, Warsaw, Indiana, passed away October 1, 2021 at Parkview Regional Medical Center in Fort Wayne, Indiana. Born in Magoffin County, Kentucky on July 21, 1949, Norma Jean was the daughter of the late John B. and Lillie Mae (Williams) Wireman.

Two years after graduating from Magoffin County High School in 1967, Norma Jean married Gordon R. Bradley on May 29, 1969. The two spent fifty-two wonderful years together and had two children, Jeanette and Gordonell Bradley. Norma Jean loved spending time with her husband, daughters, grandchildren and other family members. She was always there to help them with whatever they needed. Norma Jean also relished in her time spent in the garden and tending to her flowers.

At the age of twenty-seven, Norma Jean began taking classes at Huntington Beauty College in Huntington, Indiana. She later graduated and opened her own hair salon, Gordy’s Hair Studio, in Warsaw, Indiana. She owned and operated the salon for forty-two years before retiring in 2020.

The loving memory of Norma Jean Bradley will be forever cherished by her husband of fifty-two years, Gordon R. Bradley, Warsaw, Indiana; daughters, Jeanette (Trent) Wuchter, Warsaw, Indiana and Gordonell (Greg) Horton, Claypool, Indiana; brothers, John B. Wireman, Bull Creek, Kentucky and Paul Wireman and Odell Wireman, both of Gunlock, Kentucky; sisters, Karen Hensley, Gunlock, Kentucky and Bernice Warrix, Warsaw, Indiana; grandchildren, Trenton (Abi) Wuchter, Kyle (Brittney) Wuchter, Morgan Wuchter, Chayla Wuchter, Gordon Horton, and Grant Horton; great-grandchildren, Cale Wuchter, Nova Wuchter, Eli Wuchter, Audrey Wuchter, Sawyer Goodsell, and Parker Goodsell; and many nieces and nephews. Norma Jean was preceded in death by her parents, John and Lillie Mae Wireman; brother, Max Ray Wireman; and sisters, Gladys Louise Howard and Wanda Lou Wireman.

Family and friends may call Wednesday, October 6, 2021 from 12:00 to 2:00 p.m. at McKee Mortuary, 1401 State Road 114 West, North Manchester, Indiana. Funeral services will begin at the conclusion of calling. Rocky Addair will officiate, and burial will be at Fairview Cemetery, County Road 300 East and County Road 1000 North, Servia, Indiana.

The family of Norma Jean Bradley has entrusted McKee Mortuary with care and final arrangements.
