Oliver Charles Powers age 88 of Salyersville, Kentucky passed away Sunday, January 30, 2022 at the Highlands ARH Regional Medical Center. He was born October 01, 1933 in Salyersville, Kentucky to the late Frank B. and Emily Adams Powers.
Survived by one brother, William Grant Powers of Salyersville, Kentucky, two sisters, Pheoba Fitzgerald of Freemont, Ohio, Lora Hall of Prestonsburg, Kentucky, special family, Victor Prater, James Holbrook, great nephew, Isaiah Burke, with a host of nieces and nephews.
In addition to his parents, Oliver is preceded in death by two brothers, Ernest Powers, Paul Clayton Powers, three sisters, Edith Powers, Sina Rose Conger, and Nellie Jane Kelley.
Funeral services will be conducted at 1:00 P.M. Sunday, February 06, 2022 from the Magoffin County Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will follow in the Powers Cemetery in Salyersville, Kentucky. Friends may visit the funeral home Saturday, February 05, 2022 from 5:00 P.M. till 9:00 P.M. and any time prior to funeral services.
