Princess K. Penix

Princess K. Penix, age 87, of Kenton, Ohio, passed away on Wednesday, October 6, 2021 at her residence in Kenton.

Princess was born on February 7, 1934 in Marion, Ohio, to John C. and Lola M. (Phillips) Pleider, both of whom are deceased. She was once married to Melvin Hall, and then married Charles Russell Penix and he passed away on April 20, 2007.

She was survived by her children: Lola “Sally” (Ed) Essinger of Lakeview, Ohio, Thomas Hall of Kirby, Mary Jane Hall of Marion, Anthony “Tony” Hall of Wharton, Tina Evans of Kenton, and Timothy Hall of Upper Sandusky, 2 step-sons, Randall (Rose) Penix of Lakeland, Florida, and Ronnie Penix of Daleville, Alabama. 15 grandchildren, 4 step grandchildren and many great grandchildren and great great grandchildren. Along with a sister Susie (Richard) Walsh of Marion.

She was preceded in death by a sister, Shirley and brothers, John and Charles.

Princess worked for 46 years as a STNA at the former Marion Nursing Home.

For hobbies, she enjoyed doing needlepoint and making items and blessing others with them, and she like her cats.

Princess will be remembered for her love for the Lord.

Graveside services were held Tuesday, October 12, at Tackett Cemetery, in Salyersville, Kentucky.

Memorial contributions may be made to a Humane Society of your choice in memory of Princess and can be sent to Lucas-Batton Funeral Home, 476 S. Sandusky Ave. Upper Sandusky, Ohio, 43351.
