Richard Castle, age 89, a resident of Parkway Drive in Salyersville, Kentucky, passed away Wednesday, July 15, 2026, at the Salyersville Health Care and Rehabilitation Center in Salyersville, Kentucky peacefully after a lengthy illness.
Born January 1, 1937, in Paintsville, Kentucky, the son of the late Russell and Eula Daniels Castle. Richard is also preceded in death by his wife, Mary Rose Miller, brothers, Ralph Castle, Robert Cub Castle, sisters, Rushie Blanton, Ruby Craves, Ruth Rigsby and Roberta Conley.
He was a member of the Little Rachel Church in Royalton, Kentucky. Richard was employed as a miner until his retirement.
Those left to mourn includes brother, Ray Bob Castle, sister, Janet Sue Pack, a host of family and friends who love and miss him.
Funeral services for Richard Castle were conducted Saturday, July 18, 2026 from the Little Rachel Church. Clergy Johnny Bailey delivered comforting words on the day of services. Interment followed in the Miller Cemetery on Route 542.
