Samuel Lee Wright age 78 of Salyersville, Kentucky passed away Sunday, February 6, 2022 at the Prestonsburg Health Care Center in Prestonsburg, Kentucky. He was born to the late Carl Jackson and Lillie Burkes Wright.
Samuel is survived by his wife, Hazel Janish Wright, three daughters, Victoria Wright, Sandra Wright, Melissa Howard, two grand children, one brother, Hassel (Buster) Wright.
He was preceded in death by one grand child, five brothers, Everett Wright, Johnny Oscar Wright, Milton Wright, Carl Wright, Walter Wright, two sisters, Lena Wallen, Marie Krager.
Funeral services will be conducted at 11:00 am Friday, February 11, 2022 from the Magoffin County Funeral Home Chapel with Floyd Arnett officiating. Burial will follow in the Wright Family Cemetery at Sprague Branch, Kentucky. Friends may visit the funeral home from 6:00 pm till 9:00 pm Thursday, February 10, 2022 and anytime prior to the funeral services.
Military Rites will be given by the Salyersville D.A.V. Chapter 15 the day of the funeral service.
