Theron Saville Bentley age 81 of Lick Creek Road, Salyersville, Kentucky passed away Friday, July 16, 2021, at his home. He was born June 07, 1940, in Knott County, Kentucky to the late Ocie and Myrtle Ritchie Bentley.
He is survived by his wife, Mattie Patrick Bentley, two sons, Troy Bentley and Tim (Michelle) Bentley both of Salyersville, Kentucky, one daughter, Kim (Jeff) Bentley of Ashland, Kentucky, three sisters, Eva Trent, Marvella Bowles, both of Ohio, Deanna Roberts of Alabama, seven grandchildren, Megan Horton, Jarod Nicely, Tyler Bentley, Quentin Bentley, Kelsey Swafford, Ashleigh Bentley, Jessica Strange, fifteen great grandchildren, and his faithful companions, Peppy, Ollie, and Pokey.
In addition to his parents, Theron is preceded in death by one sister, Arvenia Welch, and one infant brother.
Theron was a truck driver by trade and a dedicated member and Deacon at the Elk Creek Freewill Baptist Church.
Funeral services were conducted Tuesday, July 20, 2021, from the Magoffin County Funeral Home Chapel with Paul Hiner and Allison Howard officiating.
Family has requested, in lieu of flowers, contributions can be made to the Theron Bentley Memorial Fund at the Magoffin County Funeral Home.
Arrangements are under the direction of the Magoffin County Funeral Home.
