SALYERSVILLE – Magoffin County High School Athletic Director Neil West has received the Modern Woodmen Hometown Hero Award.
A longtime leader for Magoffin County High School, West received the award during a presentation held at MCHS on Thursday, Oct. 14.
A successful educator, West leads the Magoffin County High School athletics department.
West was nominated for the award as a result of his contributions and the sacrifice of his time to his community.
Modern Woodmen of America honors hometown heroes throughout the nation.
