Paul David Conley, age 74, a resident of Burning Fork Road in Salyersville, Kentucky, passed away Tuesday, October 7, 2025 at his home after a lengthy illness.
Paul David was born March 12, 1951, at Paintsville Hospital in Paintsville, Kentucky, the son of the late Paul Edison and Beatrice Conley Conley. Brother, Danny Conley, also preceded in death.
Paul David served his Country in the United States Marine Corp and is a Veteran of the Vietnam War before being honorably discharged. He was employed as a Union Millwright belonging to the Kentucky Carpenters Union Local 1076 and Ohio Carpenters Union Local 1031.
Those left to mourn includes his wife of fifty-three years, Jerri Jackson Conley of Salyersville, Kentucky, daughters, Kimberly Blanton and husband Robbie of Salyersville, Kentucky, Paula Howard and husband Benji of Anderson, South Carolina, four grandchildren, Ryan Blanton, Tierra Smith, Lakyn Blanton, and Audriana Turner, three great-grandchildren, Lucas, Brenton, and Landry, a host of family and friends who love and miss him. Paul also leaves behind his devoted fur-baby, Izzy.
Funeral services for Paul David Conley will be conducted Saturday, October 11, 2025, at 1:00 PM from the chapel of the Salyersville Funeral Home in Salyersville, Kentucky. Clergy Paul Heiner will deliver comforting words on the day of funeral. Interment will follow in the Adams and Crace Family Cemetery on New Paintsville Road in Salyersville, Kentucky. Military Rites will be given by the Magoffin County Chapter D.A.V.. The family will welcome friends Friday, October 10, after 6:00 PM and anytime prior to the funeral service. Contributions can be made to the Magoffin County Chapter DAV, Hospice of the Bluegrass, and Magoffin Co. Shriners Club.
