Earl Tackett age 79 of Buffalo Road in Salyersville, Kentucky passed away Tuesday, November 04, 2025 at his home. He was born August 22, 1946 in Magoffin County, Kentucky to the late Beecher and Flotella Howard Tackett.
Survived by his wife, Mary Lou Rigsby Tackett, one son, Tracy Tackett and Wilma Osborne of Salyersville, Kentucky, one daughter, Melissa Arnett and Larry Wright of Salyersville, Kentucky, one brother, Ruffas (Florence) Tackett of Salyersville, Kentucky, two sisters, Lavone (Roger) Simpson of Hodgenville, Kentucky, Judy (Jerry) Keltner of Campbellsville, Kentucky, five grandchildren, Lexie Tackett, Madison Arnett, Colton Tackett, Macie Arnett, and Skylar Osborne.
In addition to his parents, Earl is preceded in death by one brother, Jimmy Tackett.
Funeral services will be conducted at 11:00 A.M. Friday, November 07, 2025 from the Magoffin County Funeral Home with Gary Bolen, Greg Hall, and Jeff Helton officiating. Burial will follow in the Tackett Cemetery at Buffalo, Kentucky. Friends may visit the funeral home Thursday, November 06, 2025 from 5:00 P.M. till 9:00 P.M. and any time prior to funeral services.
