Dave Fletcher, age 76, a resident of North Long Branch in Salyersville, Kentucky, passed away peacefully on Saturday, November 1, 2025, at his home.
Born May 1, 1949, in Salyersville, Kentucky, Dave was the son of the late Vernie and Nettie Gibson Fletcher, son Dave Barry Fletcher and brothers, Lendon Fletcher, Buck Fletcher, Hager Fletcher also proceeded him in death
He was a farmer by trade until his death. Dave was an avid rabbit hunter and could often be found in the woods.
Those left to cherish his memory includes wife, Judy K. Bayes Fletcher, daughters, Carolyn Sue Angel and husband John of Nicholsville, Kentucky, Mary Pierce and husband Don of South Carolina, Michelle and Sean Mcdowell of Nicholsville, Kentucky, Stacy Howard of Salyersville, Kentucky, Louvenia and John Wireman of Gunlock, Kentucky, Vernie Fletcher of Salyersville, Kentucky, Heaven Fletcher of Salyersville, Kentucky, sons, Willie Shepherd and wife Shelly of Salyersville, Kentucky, Cory Fletcher of Salyersville, Kentucky, sisters, Nelavie Reinis of Lima, Ohio, Grendal Barnes of Salyersville, Kentucky, brothers, Danny Fletcher of Salyersville, Kentucky, Rondal Fletcher of Salyersville, Kentucky, Elwood Fletcher of Salyersville, Kentucky, a host of family and friends who love and miss him.
Funeral services for Dave Fletcher were conducted Wednesday, November 5, from the chapel of the Salyersville Funeral Home. Clergy JR Owens delivered comforting words on the day of service. Interment followed in the Bluegrass Cemetery in Salyersville, Kentucky. Contributions can be made to the memorial fund here at the Salyersville Funeral Home.
