Dorothy Jean Bailey age 78 of Licking River Road, Salyersville, Kentucky passed away Wednesday, April 08, 2026 at the Paintsville ARH Hospital in Paintsville, Kentucky. She was born September 15,1947 at Waldo, Kentucky to the late Clarence and Clara Conley Mullins.
Survived by her partner, Robert “Bob” Conley, one son, Elmer (Rita) Bailey of Royalton, Kentucky, one daughter, Christina (Tom) Spencer of Salyersville, Kentucky, two brothers, Marcus Mullins of Michigan, Brian Mullins of Gunlock, Kentucky, two sisters, Jewel Rowland of Paintsville, Kentucky, Brenda Sue Johnson of Prestonsburg, Kentucky, nine grandchildren, eighteen great-grandchildren, and five great-great grandchildren.
In addition to her parents, Dorothy Jean is preceded in death by her husband, Elmer Bailey, two brothers, Denver Mullins, Clarence Ray Mullins, three sisters, Bethel Spisak, Ethel Mullins, Betty Lou Mullins, and one granddaughter, Kimberly Bailey.
Funeral services were conducted Monday, April 13, 2026 from the Magoffin County Funeral Home Chapel with Joe Carroll officiating. Burial followed in the Conley – Hale Cemetery at Rt 7 Salyersville, Kentucky.
Arrangements were under the direction of the Magoffin County Funeral Home.
