Ballard Slone age 80 of Salyersville, Kentucky passed away Monday, June 08, 2026 at his home. He was born October 02, 1945 in Floyd County, Kentucky to the late James and Sadie Shepherd Slone.
Survived by two sons, Clark and wife Debbie Slone, John and wife Cheryl Slone, one daughter Patricia and husband William Davis, three brothers, Graden Slone, Gold Slone, Ottis Slone, one sister, Nolene Younce, six grandchildren, William Tyler Davis, Nicholas Jordan Davis, Chase Slone, Emily Slone, Jerred Slone, Dakota Davis, four great grandchildren, Madison Davis, Abigail Davis, Macy Davis, and Colton Davis.
In addition to his parents, Ballard is preceded in death by his wife, Nelma Faye Martin Slone, three brothers, Ralph Slone, Levi Slone, Clark Slone, and one sister, Oralee Slone Little.
Funeral services will be conducted at 2:00 P.M. Thursday, June 11, 2026 from the Magoffin County Funeral Home. Burial will follow in the Jim Slone Cemetery at David, Kentucky. Friends may visit the funeral home Thursday, June 11, 2026 after 12:00 P.M. and any time till funeral services at 2:00 P.M.
