Leondus Patrick age 91 of Mash Fork Road, Salyersville, Kentucky passed away Thursday, June 11, 2026 at his home. Leondus was born; December 1, 1934 in Magoffin County, Kentucky to the late Buford and Myrtle Coffey Patrick. He was married to the late Emma Lou Bolen Patrick.
Survivors include, two sons; Eddie Lee Patrick of Salyersville, Kentucky and Leondus Patrick II of Mash Fork, Kentucky, two daughters; Theresa Patrick Fields of Palm Bay, Florida and Rhonda Gale Patrick Bowers of Lawrenceburg, Kentucky, one brother; Ashland Patrick of Johnson Fork, Kentucky, two sisters; Thelma Green of Salyersville, Kentucky and Mable Arnett, 13 grandchildren, 14 great grandchildren and 5 great great grandchildren also survives.
In addition to his parents and wife Leondus is preceded in death by, two daughters; Marsha Renee Patrick Durham and Angie Dawn Patrick Butcher, one brother; Johnny Patrick, five sisters; Geneva Reed, Julie Apporoso, Ernestine Watts, Elenore Holbrook and Carol Joy Ramage.
Leondus served proudly in the United States Marine Corp. and later retired from Miller Brothers Coal Company. He was a member of the First Community Baptist Church.
Funeral services for Leondus Patrick were conducted Tuesday, June 16, 2026 from the First Community Baptist Church with Lyndsy Meade officiating. Burial followed at the Blue Grass Memorial Gardens, 4915 Harrodsburg Road, Nicholasville, Kentucky on Wednesday, June 17, 2026.
Military rites were given by the Salyersville D.A.V. Chapter 15 the day of funeral services.
Arrangements were under the direction of the Magoffin County Funeral Home.
